History:

Pet Shop Boys is Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe. They met for the first time in August 1981, in an electronics store when Neil Tennant went to buy some parts for his synthesizer.
Neil Tennant was working as a reporter at the English pop magazine "Smash Hits", and Chris Lowe was studying to become an architect.
In August 1983 they went to USA where they recorded their first songs, but those didn't become hits.
